We chose ReGen because they were one of the few investors we talked to who deeply understood the need to go beyond carbon neutral. They have a wide range of expertise that includes Ag, carbon, creative marketing, and politics. They are innovators and are paving a path for what investments should be by searching for sustainable returns rather than purely short-term wins. ReGen has been most helpful to-date in three ways: first, through customer introductions with their great networks in the food/ag space which have driven inbound opportunities. Second, through investor connections, opening several doors that are positioning Clean Crop to secure significant additional investment before our Series B. And third, in managing our board and existing set of investors. ReGen’s coaching has made me a much more effective communicator and strategist.

I wanted ReGen to be our lead investor because of the singular DNA of the peaceful warrior that courses through the fund. They look to the furthest horizon with a hellfire conviction to will it to within reach. More importantly, they understand how to pull it off. ReGen live what others can only speak to – a biology of fund and self that knows that to truly get to the greatest stakes in climate and human history, you must build a heretofore unseen bond between the founding team and the fund.
